| In this lesson, we will cover an extremely important phrase: "Where is the bathroom?" Just to avoid any possible confusion for our non-native English speakers out there, let's clarify that in North American English, a room where you can find a toilet, a sink and sometimes a bathtub or shower, is called "bathroom." |

| Let’s break it down by syllable: Къде е тоалетната? (Kade e toaletnata?) |
| Now let's hear it once again: Къде е тоалетната? (Kade e toaletnata?) |
| Let’s take a look at the components. |
| The first word къде (kade) means "where." |
| Let’s break it down by syllable and hear it one more time: къде (kade) |

| This is followed by e (е) which in Bulgarian means "is." |

| So to recap here, we have: Къде е (Kade e) |
| In this case, the word order in Bulgarian is exactly the same as the one in English so literally this means "Where is?" Let's take a look at the next, тоалетната (toaletnata) which means "the bathroom" in North-American English and "the toilet" in British English. |
