Hi everyone! I’m Alisha. |
Welcome to Conversational Phrases! |
We’ve found that the best way to learn a language is to speak it from day one! And the best way to start speaking is to learn phrases that you’ll use in real conversations. |
In this lesson, you’ll learn conversational phrases to use when talking with friends. After watching this video, you’ll be able to have a casual conversation with a friend, and to say something is “super.” |
Now, let’s take a look at some conversational phrases! |
Listen to the dialogue. |
Хей, виж онази кола! (Hey, vizh onazi kola!) |
Еха, супер яка е! (Eha, super yaka e!) |
Once more with the English translation. |
Хей, виж онази кола! (Hey, vizh onazi kola!) |
“Hey, look at that car!” |
Еха, супер яка е! (Eha, super yaka e!) |
“Wow, that's super cool!” |
First of all you'll need to learn how to say “Hey, look at that car!” |
That's: |
Хей, виж онази кола! (Hey, vizh onazi kola!) |
Listen to it again: |
Хей, виж онази кола!, Хей, виж онази кола! (Hey, vizh onazi kola!, Hey, vizh onazi kola!) |
“Hey, look at that car!” |
Now, how do you respond to this? |
First of all, you’ll need to learn how to say “wow” . That’s |
eха, eха (eha, eha) |
Then, you’ll need to learn how to say “That’s super [adjective].” |
The pattern is: |
Супер [adjective] е. (Super [adjective] e.) |
This Bulgarian sentence literally translates as "Super [adjective] is." The adjective will change depending of the gender of the noun. But it means “That's super [adjective].” |
For example: |
“Wow, that's super cool!” |
Еха, супер яка е!, Еха, супер яка е! (Eha, super yaka e!, Eha, super yaka e!) |
