Can you make some sentences starting with "This is my..."?

Thank you for your question! The sentence is almost correct. Only the definite article то needs to be used only once.

So, if you have the short form of the possessive pronoun (ти), you put the possessive pronoun то to the noun, i.e.

Това кучеТО ти ли е? (Is this your dog?)

And if you have the long form of the possessive pronoun (твое), you put the possessive pronoun то to it, i.e.

Това твоеТО куче ли е? (Is this your dog?)

Hello Sandra,

Това на масата твое ли е? means Is this on the table yours? We use твое because it refers to това and both of them are neuter. Твой is masculine and твоя is feminine. So, the question in different genders would be: Тази чанта твоя ли е?/Чантата на масата твоя ли е? (Is this bag yours? / Is the bag on the table yours?) аnd Този чадър твой ли е?/Чадърът на масата твой ли е? (Is this umbrella yours? / Is the umbrella on the table yours?)

Твоят, твоята, твоето are the same possessive pronouns with the definite article. They could be used as follows:

Твоят приятел дойде. - Your friend came.

Не намирам твоята тетрадка. - I can't find your notebook.

Това на масата твоето огледало ли е? - Is this on the table your mirror? (or mine)

your sentence is quite correct. I would just suggest that you start sentences in Bulgarian with a capital letter, but am sure that you are aware of this rule. :laughing:

Just a note - it sounds more natural to say "This is my computer" like this in Bulgarian:

Това е компютърът ми.

Although in English we don't say "This is THE my computer" in Bulgarian we should be careful about that.

But you did great with the other sentence "Това е моята книга".

If you notice here too, we say "This is (THE) my book".
