| Petar: When you apologize in Bulgarian for something you did in the past, you might use two slightly different expressions. If you say Не го мислех., you feel fully contrite for what you said and literally mean "I was not thinking when I said it". If you think that the other person did not understand you right, you should say Нямах това предвид., or “I did not mean this.” Then, you might not feel fully contrite but would like to explain yourself more clearly. |
