Hello Becca!

I see you were exposed to Bulgarian since early childhood. This means it’s there, you just have to help it come out. :)

We can start with some of the phrases your mother used:

I have to pee – Трябва да пишкам. (Tryabva da pishkam.)

Hush – Тихо! (Tiho!)

She thinks she knows everything – Тя си смисли, че знае всичко. (Tya si misli, che znae vsichko.)

It’s too expensive –Това е прекалено скъпо. (Tova e prekaleno skapo.)

My grandmother my barber didn’t speak any English she only spoke Bulgarian and Macedonian I grew up only hearing a few phrases from my mother who spoke fluently. She would say things in Bulgarian like. I have to pee or hush or she thinks she knows everything or it’s too expensive !!! I still to this day don’t know exactly how to say those words and I’m trying to learn Bulgarian thank you for this I pod cast

hi folks . Great Great job putting this program together. I simply wanted to give a heads up that the audio for "Vocabulary for nationalities " does not work after the first 3 countries are dictated in the slide show. Possibly this is my mistake....
